Please go to http://www.ltu.edu/human_resources/staff_job_postings.asp (posting number MCH999), for more details.
Robofest family is happy to see the growth of Robofest. We thank all the participants and volunteers since the first Robofest 2000.
(2)
Robofest 2005 Plan
Robofest 2004
had four different sites. After receiving many inquiries, we are about to
decide to expand Robofest to an even higher level. If the event is elevated to
an international level, students interests will be increased and their efforts
will be recognized even more. Currently, some countries in Asia are interested
in sending teams to Robofest.
If you are
interested in hosting regional Robofest competitions, or if you know someone
who might be interested, please let us know. LTU will provide necessary items
and materials as a package not only to support hosting the event, but also to
publicize your organization.
Detailed plans
are:
Informational meeting for Robofest hosts and coaches in
November
Rules
and partial challenges will be announced in late December
Warm-up
competitions will be held in Feb. (Judge training will also be done)
Regional
competitions in Feb - March
World
Robofest competitions on April 23 at Lawrence Tech
Invited exhibitions will be held only at LTU. (Exhibitions will be screened by videotapes sent to Robofest judges before World Robofest to determine who will be invited.)
We appreciate any comments concerning this plan.
